Vent: My local bakery's Instagram feed went from warm to weirdly cold

Three years ago, they posted photos of floury hands and the sunrise over the ovens. Last month, every picture looked like a stock photo with perfect, bright white backgrounds. I went in last week and asked about a cookie I saw online, and the girl at the counter sighed and said, 'Oh, we stopped making those. The photos are from the old manager.' Has anyone else seen a brand's social media lose its real voice and confuse customers?

Yeah, that's the new corporate playbook. Make it look like a hospital room, not a kitchen. Next they'll be selling you a picture of a cookie for five bucks.

What's the most overpriced thing you've seen lately?
