Update: Our Instagram ad spend in Denver went way up last week

We launched a new ad set for a local gym promo. Budget was $200 a day. First two days, clicks were cheap. Then on Thursday, cost per click doubled. No changes to the ad or audience. Checked the ad account, nothing flagged. Has anyone seen this happen in a single city before? How do you fix it?

Yeah, that "cost per click doubled" thing happened with our cafe ads. We fixed it by duplicating the ad set and turning the original off for 48 hours. It seemed to reset whatever was making the auction price jump.

@felix_fox Doubling is a stretch, ain't it? Maybe it was just bad targeting.

Weird, my buddy's food truck ads in Austin did the same thing last month.
