One customer comment that made my email campaign click
I run a small local marketing agency. Helped a bakery in Austin with their email list. After 3 months, one customer replied saying 'I actually read these now because they feel like a real person wrote them.' That comment stuck with me. I had just started writing subject lines like I was talking to a friend. Has anyone else gotten a reply that changed how you write?

Yeah I used to think subject lines needed to be clever or have some marketing trick to them. But @calebm75 brought this up once and it hit me different after a customer straight up said my emails felt like a robot wrote them. Now I write subject lines like I'm texting a buddy - half the time it's just "hey, don't forget about the croissants" or something dumb like that. People open them way more now because it doesn't feel like spam.
