Switched from tab groups to just leaving everything open and I'm less stressed
For months I was religiously grouping my 60+ Chrome tabs into color coded sections thinking it made me organized. Then my buddy Mike from work showed me his setup with 200 tabs just sitting there in one window and he finds stuff faster than me. I tried it for a week and honestly not having to decide where to put each tab saved me like 15 minutes a day. Has anyone else dropped their organization system and just embraced the chaos?

Did you ever feel like you were spending more time organizing the tabs than actually using them? I was the same way with my folders and color coding until I realized I was wasting mental energy on something that didn't matter. Just letting everything pile up in one window changed how I work, never going back to the old system.

My wife spent three whole weeks color-coding her browser tabs last year. Three weeks. She had a system for everything: blue for work, green for shopping, red for news. Then one day Chrome crashed and she lost every single tab she had organized. She just sat there staring at the screen for like five minutes. Now she just lets them pile up in one window too and says she has never felt more free.
