Spent 4 hours hunting for a mod file I already had saved twice

I wanted to install a texture pack for Skyrim and dug through 300GB of loose mod folders for 3 hours before realizing I had it stored in two separate backup drives with different names. Has anyone else wasted a whole afternoon just searching their own hoard of downloads?

Went digging through my downloads folder last week for a mod that adds better night skies... found it after 45 minutes but also came across three other mods I downloaded and completely forgot about. One was an ENB preset I probably spent an hour tweaking back in 2021. The other was a weapon pack I apparently already had installed in two different load orders.

Ngl, this is too real. I once spent two hours trying to fix a CTD only to realize the broken mod was just sitting in my downloads folder from three years ago, doing nothing.
