Pro tip: Stop hoarding every single game update file in your downloads folder

I had like 80GB of old patch files and hotfix installers for games I haven't touched since 2021 piling up in my downloads folder. My buddy Mike, who runs a PC repair shop, told me to just run WinDirStat to see what was eating space and I realized those old .exe files were the main culprit. Has anyone else found a specific folder or file type that's secretly taking up half your drive?

My buddy had the same realization with his Steam screenshot folder, turns out he had like 15GB of random old game screenshots he'd taken and forgot about. Just checked mine and yep, similar story.

@anderson.spencer same here but my embarrassing folder is the one full of failed PUBG selfies I forgot to delete.
