That old timer at the truck stop in Amarillo who said modern DEF systems are a waste
I was fueling up my service rig last fall and got talking with a retired fleet mechanic. He said, 'All this DEF junk just makes a simple engine complicated for no real gain.' But my shop sees way fewer regen cycles and cleaner exhaust on the newer trucks. Who's got it right here?
