I know everyone swears by the 3/4 inch impact for lug nuts, but mine failed on a job in Boise and I had to improvise.

Actually had enough torque, the battery was just dead. Had to borrow a breaker bar from the guy next to me, mason209, to finish up.

Explain what happened with the impact... did it just not have enough torque, or did it break completely. I've seen guys have issues with cheaper models when the nuts are really rusted on, or if they're using the wrong socket size and it strips everything out. What did you end up doing to get the job finished.
