Went through the same thing with my old Angelfire site back in 2009. I had all these screenshots from my first forum arguments and cringey poetry, just gone overnight. What finally worked for me was digging through Google Images search with my old username and site name, found a handful that way. Also try the Wayback Machine even if it feels hopeless, I was surprised how much random stuff got saved there. It sucks losing that kind of time capsule stuff, but you might get lucky with some deep internet archiving.

That Google Images trick actually worked for me too, found some old forum signatures and profile pics I thought were gone forever. Did you try searching with the exact file names from any old links you still have saved?
