That VPN bundle deal I got for $99 turned out to be a complete scam

Paid for a 3 year VPN subscription from a random ad and it stopped working after 2 months with no refund. Has anyone else gotten burned by those cheap lifetime deals?

I just do month to month now, way easier to bail if it sucks.

Yeah I used to think those deals were fine too. This changed my mind completely.
