Password managers used to freak me out but 2FA login codes changed my mind
I was dead set against using a password manager for years. Felt like putting all my keys in one digital basket was asking for trouble. Then I had to reset 14 different accounts after a breach at my job in Austin back in March. A coworker showed me how his manager auto-fills and pairs with a hardware key for 2FA. Took me an afternoon to set up Bitwarden and I haven't looked back. Has anyone else gone from hating these things to relying on them?

Keep in mind hardware keys do require a backup in case you lose the main one.

I actually disagree a bit. In my experience, losing a hardware key hasn't been that big of a deal since most services have pretty straightforward recovery codes you can print out ahead of time.
