Can we talk about the time I got hacked at a coffee shop in Portland

I was at a Coffee House Northwest last month, sipping a latte and using their free WiFi to check my bank account... next thing I know, notifications about strange charges popped up. Turns out someone was packet sniffing on that network and grabbed my login info. Has anyone else been burned by public WiFi like this?

Coffee House Northwest has solid WPA2 encryption so I doubt packet sniffing was the real issue there.
