Took me 3 hours to realize my screen mesh was on backwards

I was fighting with uneven ink coverage for months on a big batch of t-shirts. Finally figured out the mesh was installed with the coarser side facing the squeegee instead of the shirt. Has anyone else made this dumb mistake or just me?

Oh man, I totally feel your pain lol. That is a super easy mistake to make if you aren't paying attention. But here's the thing nobody talks about - having the mesh backwards actually made me realize my off-contact gap was way too high. Once I flipped the mesh right, I had to mess with the screen angle and pressure too because the ink was behaving totally different. So honestly, that mistake probably saved you from way worse issues down the line.

Well I'll be. That reminds me of the time I spent a whole afternoon trying to figure out why my prints were coming out fuzzy on a rush job for a local car club. Turned out I had the mesh the right way around but my squeegee was way too dull. I had been using the same one for months without checking it. After I sharpened it up the difference was night and day. Funny how these little things sneak up on you when you've been doing it the same way for years.
