Spent $300 on a cheap DTF printer from Alibaba, totally regret it
Bought a no-name DTF printer off Alibaba for $300 back in February. Worked for like 2 weeks then the printhead clogged beyond repair. Shaking film and powder curing never gave consistent results either. Anyone else get burned buying budget gear from overseas suppliers?

Switching to American ink fixed my clogging issues too.

Did you check if the Chinese ink they sent was actually water based? A lot of those cheap Alibaba kits use water based ink that's way more prone to clogging compared to eco solvent. I bought a similar setup and found out the hard way when my printheads died after a month. Swapping to a US brand ink helped but the whole thing was still a headache.
