Pro tip: double check your screen mesh tension before you start a big run

I was printing a 500 shirt order for a local brewery in Austin last month and about 100 shirts in I noticed the registration was starting to slip. Turns out my screen mesh had loosened up overnight because the shop temp dropped. I had to stop, retension the screen, and reprint the last 50 shirts that were already off register. Has anyone else had this happen with sudden temp changes messing up their screens?

Dude, that screen tension dropping with temp changes is brutal. I had to trash a whole batch of shirts once because my shop got cold overnight and threw everything off.

Man 68 degrees wrecked my whole setup last February. I came in the next morning and my 230 mesh screen was so loose it looked like a trampoline. Had to re-stretch everything and reset every single screen before I could start printing. Now I keep my shop at 72 and never touch the thermostat overnight.
