Just blew $200 on a custom shirt order that came out pixelated
I sent a high-res logo file to this online printer, and they confirmed it looked good. Got the shirts last week and the whole design is blurry, like they used a tiny image and stretched it. I checked my original file again, it was definitely 300 DPI. Customer service just said 'artwork issues' and won't refund. Has anyone else had a printer blame the file when it was clearly their machine or settings?

That "artwork issues" line is a classic brush-off. They probably just dragged your file into a template without checking the actual print size. I always ask for a digital proof now, where you can zoom in and see the pixels before they print anything.

Yeah @hannahs71, a zoomable proof saves so much headache... learned that the hard way.

That "zoomable proof" tip is solid, but DPI doesn't matter if the actual pixel dimensions are too small for the shirt size.
