Tying a 6 foot tagline to my belt loop saved me on a blind pick in Gary
Had a blind pick over a wall last Thursday in Gary and my spotter's radio died right as the load swung out of sight. I clipped a 6 foot tagline to my belt loop instead of the load, so I could feel the swing against my hip and ease off the boom before anything got ugly. Anybody else rigging taglines off themselves like that, or is that a habit I picked up from one old timer and nobody else does it?
