Swinging blind in thick fog at the Port of Savannah, thank god for the tagline crew

Was doing a container lift last month at the Port of Savannah and a bank of fog rolled in so fast I couldn't see the landing zone past about 40 feet up. Load was already in the air, maybe 12 tons of export goods, and I had to hold it hovering for a solid 11 minutes while my signal guy tried to guide me from radio alone. I kept second guessing every little move because I couldnt see the corner markers or the truck below. Ended up following his voice commands inch by inch and set it down soft, but my shirt was soaked after. That tagline guy saved my ass, we dont always give them enough credit. Do you all have a go-to method for blind landings or do you just trust the radio no matter what?
