Shoutout to my brake adjustment after that close call in Dallas

The load line brake started slipping last Tuesday on a 45 ton pick, felt it grab then let go partway through the lift. I shut everything down, adjusted the brake pads and checked the drum for glazing, took about 40 minutes before we resumed. Anyone else had a brake suddenly act up on a routine job and what did you find when you cracked it open?
