My new heated eyelash curler was a total waste of $25
I saw a video about these heated lash curlers and thought it would be a great add-on service. I bought one to try on myself first, and it just did not work on my straight lashes at all. It felt warm, but the curl fell out in about ten minutes, even with mascara. Has anyone else tried one of these and had better luck, or should I just stick with my trusty metal curler?

Read a beauty blog that said the trick is holding it at the root and rolling slowly. Tried that with mine and it curled okay but dropped after an hour. My metal curler with a blow dryer still works way better for cheap.

Ugh, this is the story of my life with beauty gadgets. I fall for the ads every time. Last year it was that microcurrent face toning thing that just gave me a weird tingle. Before that, the jade roller that rolled right off my nightstand. It feels like they're all made for someone with a totally different face or hair type than mine. Your lash curler story just proves the hype is usually better than the actual result.
