Unpopular opinion: paying $45 for a parking pass at the covered market saved my whole Saturday
Last Saturday I drove to the Riverside flea market and almost parked on the street for free like usual. A guy in a vest said the lot fills up by 8am and street spots get ticketed fast. I paid the $45 for the covered garage pass and got a spot right by the entrance. Two hours later I came out to a $75 ticket on a car that parked where I almost did. Anyone else got a spot where the paid parking is actually worth it?

Learned this one the hard way at the same market two summers ago. Parked on the side street to save a few bucks and came back to a $90 ticket plus a boot, which cost me another $150 to get off. Now I just budget the parking pass into my flea market money before I even leave the house. $45 stings up front but it beats losing your whole morning standing in line at the ticket window. The garage by the north gate is the one I use, it never fills up as fast as the front lot.
