Found out my laser level was lying to me because of a $12 tripod
Spent 3 hours chasing a 3/4 inch error on a basement wall before I noticed the cheap tripod head was sagging under the weight, and swapping to a heavier plate fixed it in 10 minutes, so now I'm wondering how many of my old layouts were off and I just blamed the framing.
