Wasted $140 on a 'hidden frequency' detector that was just a $9 AM radio

Back in March I got deep into the whole 5G mind control rabbit hole on here. Someone kept pushing this device that supposedly picked up 'command frequencies' sent to people's neural implants. I spent 140 bucks on it from a sketchy site. When it arrived it was just a cheap AM radio chip in a plastic box with a bigger antenna. I took it apart after two days and found the board stamped with the same part number as a hobby radio kit I built for 9 dollars in 2019. The audio output was literally identical to tuning across AM static. I admit I fell for the fear and the fake spectrum charts they posted. Has anyone else dropped serious cash on gear that turned out to be repackaged common electronics?

Did you actually test it on someone with an implant before calling it junk?
