TIL that chemtrails thing might not be what I thought

I used to be 100% into the chemtrail theory, like buying into the whole mind control spray thing. Then I actually talked to a crop duster pilot at a diner in rural Indiana who showed me how they use different mixes for different fields, and it clicked that the trails I saw were probably just that. Has anyone else had their mind changed by talking to someone who actually works in the field?

@karen_sanchez10 you got a point, trusting a stranger at a diner is just swapping one leap of faith for another. But hearing how he had to adjust spray patterns for different crops and wind conditions made me realize the contrails I was worked up about matched up with stuff he described, not some big plan. It wasn't deep proof, just a little piece that fit together with other things I noticed later, like checking flight radar and seeing planes on normal routes.

So you're saying one guy at a diner debunked a whole global conspiracy with a story about crop spraying? Sounds like you just traded one version of trust for another.
