Vent: I bought a $400 power trowel attachment that was a total waste
I saw a lot of guys online talking about this new power trowel blade attachment for finishing edges. They said it saved hours on big pours. I was working a big warehouse floor job in Spokane and figured it was worth the investment. I spent $400 on it, thinking it would cut my edge work time in half. The thing was a nightmare. It vibrated so bad it was hard to control, and it left chatter marks on every single edge I tried it on. I spent more time going back with a hand trowel to fix the mess than if I had just done it the old way from the start. I ended up throwing it in the back of the truck and haven't touched it since. Has anyone else tried one of these and actually had it work, or did I just get a bad model?

Ever have a tool that just fights you the whole time? My old boss swore by a certain brand of laser level that was nothing but trouble for me, always drifting no matter how we set it up. Some gear just doesn't click with your way of working.

Totally know that feeling. It's like the tool has a personal grudge against you. Bosses get attached to gear that worked for them once and refuse to see it's junk now. That laser drifting would drive me up a wall. Sometimes you just have to admit a tool is bad and ditch it.
