Spent 6 hours trying to fix a weird broom finish that kept tearing

Turned out the mix was too stiff because the driver added extra water at the plant and I didn't check it. Has anyone else had a load show up way drier than it should be?

Did you actually verify the slump before you started placing, or did you just assume it was fine? Sometimes the problem isn't the plant, it's the guy not catching it before it's too late.

Don't you have to check the batch number first before it even leaves the plant?
