Dropped $300 on a fancy texture sprayer that just sprayed my driveway instead

I saw this sweet spray texture attachment at a supply house in Phoenix and thought it would save me hours on a stamped concrete job. Hooked it up, mixed the batch perfect, and aimed at my forms - but the pressure was way off and it shot a massive glob onto my neighbor's driveway instead of the pad. The nozzle clogged after 5 seconds and I spent like 45 minutes scraping dried concrete off her asphalt with a chisel. Anyone else fall for one of those sprayer attachments that just makes a bigger mess?

And that nozzle clog thing is exactly the problem nobody talks about. I watched a buddy try one of those hopper guns for stucco patch work and it worked for maybe two passes before the tip packed up solid. He spent more time cleaning the damn thing than he did spraying. For your situation, I bet if you had used a garden sprayer with the right tips you could have controlled the fan pattern way better. Those cheap texture attachments just don't have the pressure regulation you need for anything precise.

That clogging is a NIGHTMARE and nobody warns you how fast it happens with those cheap guns.
