Hit 200 dives this morning and it got me thinking

Didn't even realize I was close until I checked my logbook after a 45 foot hull inspection in Port Arthur. 200 sounds like a lot but it's only been 3 years. Kind of makes me wonder what the average is for someone doing this 5+ years. Anyone here keep close track of their total dive count?

Hell yeah, 200 is solid. I hit 183 last month after doing a deep clean on a shrimp boat in Biloxi, took me just over two and a half years. It's crazy how it sneaks up on you when you're just doing your thing every week. I remember being pumped at 50, then 100 felt like a real milestone, but now I barely even check the number until someone mentions it. You're right too, 200 in 3 years is solid - I've seen guys who've been at it 5 years and are barely cracking 250 because they do more surface stuff.

Wait, 45 feet in Port Arthur? That water is gnarly, props for even getting in there.
