That old percolator sound takes me back every time...
Thinking about how coffee used to be... we had this old percolator that rattled on the stove. It made coffee that was always a bit burnt, but we didn't know any better. Now, I'm weighing beans and timing my pour-over... it's a whole thing. The taste is so much cleaner, but sometimes I miss the simplicity. Back then, coffee was just about waking up, not about notes or origins. I guess things change... you get deeper into it without even meaning to. Still, that old percolator holds a place in my heart.

Disagree here. That percolator coffee was awful, hiding any real taste with burnt notes. With pour-over, I actually taste the coffee, like chocolate or fruit hints. It's more work, but it makes my morning routine better, and I don't miss the old way at all.

Lol, all this talk about burnt notes and fruit hints. It's just coffee, isn't it?
