After trying black coffee for years, I'm back to cream and sugar

Some coffee folks say you should drink it plain, but my cups with a bit of cream taste much better. I actually finish my pot now instead of leaving it half full.

My kitchen saw three fire drills last month thanks to my 'gourmet' experiments. Turns out, my signature dish is accidentally setting off alarms. So for me, plain isn't just a goal, it's a survival strategy. (I've learned that if it doesn't come out of a toaster, it's probably above my pay grade.) Maybe plain keeps things from going up in flames, literally in my case.

Because plain keeps people like roberts84 from burning their houses down. Not everyone needs to be a chef.
