Spent $35 on a Udemy JavaScript course and it got me my first freelance gig in two months
I bought it on a whim during a sale but the project-based structure taught me enough to build a simple to-do app for a local coffee shop, has anyone else found a cheap course that actually paid off?

A lot of people sleep on those Udemy sale prices, thinking a cheap course means low quality when really it's about how you apply the projects. The to-do app for a coffee shop is exactly the kind of real world win that beats overthinking.
