I finally had that “syntax click” moment after 3 tries at the same exercise
So I was banging my head against a Python loop problem on Codecademy for like two hours, and my buddy Dave from accounting just glanced over and said “you’re overcomplicating it, just think of it like a recipe for pancakes.” He’s not even a coder, but somehow that stupid analogy made the whole nested loop thing make sense in my brain. Has anyone else had a non-coder just casually say something that unlocked a concept for you?

Don't say Dave isn't a coder - explaining things simply is a huge skill in coding.
