That $80 coolant pump from Amazon burned me bad last week
I bought one of those cheap submersible coolant pumps off Amazon for $80 to replace my old one on a Haas VF-2. It lasted exactly 3 days before the seal went and dumped coolant all over my work area, ruining a $400 block of 6061 I was roughing out. Has anyone else had luck with those budget pumps or am I better off just buying the name brand for twice the price?

Yep, cheap pumps are just expensive headaches waiting to happen.

Taylor dot Betty I learned that the hard way with a $40 sump pump that died during a big storm and flooded my basement. Now I just buy the mid range ones and sleep better at night.
