Been running CNC for 22 years and a simple G-code typo cost me 6 hours yesterday

Was machining a batch of 4140 brackets and forgot a decimal point, now I gotta scrap all 12 because the Z-axis went 0.12 instead of 0.12 and took a 3 inch cut instead of 0.12 inches, anyone else get burned by missing a period in their code?

Wait, you ran it 12 times before catching the decimal? I've done that exact mistake before but catching it on the first part saved me.

Read in some dev blog that catching stuff early saves hours, @grace565, which is why I always double check the first result now.
