My neighborhood's alleyway went from trash pit to pollinator garden in 18 months
I noticed this empty strip behind the old bakery on Maple Street was always full of garbage and weeds. A local group got a small grant in spring 2023, maybe $2,000, and put in some native plants and a couple of benches. Now there are bees and butterflies everywhere, and people actually sit out there with coffee. What kind of small spots have you seen turn around like that in your town?
