Just realized how biking for daily tasks improved my fitness and helped the environment
In my experience, biking to nearby spots instead of driving has made a real difference. I feel more awake and my legs are stronger. It also means less car exhaust going into the air. For instance, I now bike to the post office and it saves time and gas. Take this with a grain of salt, but it might work for you too. Every little bit helps when it comes to climate action.

Sure, biking helps, but is it really that big a deal for fitness? Like, you'd need to ride miles every day to see real gains, lol. And for the environment, one person skipping a car trip isn't going to move the needle when factories and big trucks are pumping out most of the pollution. Biking a few blocks to the post office feels nice, but it's not exactly a game-changer for the planet.

But have you seen the stuff about how short bike trips still help over time? I read that even a little biking each week can boost your fitness without needing miles every day. I mean, maybe it's just me but I heard on a podcast that lots of small changes add up for the environment too, like if more people biked instead of driving. It won't fix everything, but it's better than doing nothing, right?
