Spent a month yelling "behind" that nobody heard over the hood fans at my last place
Switched to tapping the pass shelf twice when I walk up and now nobody collides during the dinner push at our 6pm rush. Anybody got a different signal that works when the hoods are screaming?

Man the hood fans thing is so real, nobody can hear a word back there. Tapping the pass shelf is smart since it's something you can feel too, not just hear. I've seen folks use a little shoulder tap when they're passing close, works pretty well when it's loud.
