Watching Charlotte neighborhoods swap old carports for ADUs over 10 years
Honestly, I remember when this block off Park Road was nothing but 1950s ranches with carports out back. Now there's a dozen accessory dwelling units crammed in behind them, renting for $1,800 a month. Has anyone else seen the same thing happening near the light rail stops?

Man it's wild how quickly those old carports turned into tiny money machines... $1,800 for what used to be a parking spot basically. I guess the light rail just makes it too easy to justify cramming more people in. At this rate we'll be renting out broom closets for a grand a month by 2030.
