Thought I had to offer over asking in every Charlotte neighborhood

I was set on a house in Plaza Midwood and was ready to go 20k over list, but my agent flat out told me 'that's a panic move, the comps don't support it here right now.' We offered list and got it, which saved me a ton. Are certain areas still seeing those crazy bidding wars, or is it cooling down more broadly?

Yeah, my buddy was just saying the same thing about Plaza Midwood. He heard from a lender that the crazy over-ask stuff is pretty much just in the super hot spots like South End now.
