Picked a townhouse in NoDa over a single-family in Matthews. Regretting it.

Bought a 3-story townhouse near 36th Street last spring for $425k. Now I'm dealing with upstairs noise from neighbors above me every night. Anyone else wish they'd gone for a yard instead of walkability?

Seriously though, what is it with people above me sounding like they're training for a bowling competition at midnight? I swapped a backyard for a 10 minute walk to a brewery and now I'm pretty sure the upstairs neighbor owns a heard of elephants. My sister kept telling me I'd miss having grass to mow but she didn't mention I'd be trading it for a ceiling that vibrates to bass drops.
