Our inspection on a house in Plaza Midwood missed a major sewer line issue
The backup happened two days after closing, costing us over $8k. Anyone dealt with a similar surprise repair in an older Charlotte neighborhood?

That "over $8k" part is brutal, I mean that's a huge hit right after closing.

Ouch, that's a massive unexpected cost. Was it something the inspection missed, or did it just fail right after you moved in? I'd be so stressed about what else might go wrong.
