Got burned by a fake flood disclosure in Plaza Midwood
I put an offer on a house off Central Ave last month and the seller marked 'no known flooding' on the disclosure. After closing I found water stains in the crawlspace and the city records showed two drainage claims on that exact property since 2019. Cost me $4,200 to fix the sump pump and seal the foundation. Now I pay $85 for a private flooding history report before I even schedule a showing. Has anyone else caught a seller hiding water damage in this market?
