That seam roller burnout on a 14 hour job, why do we fight it?
I spent an extra 3 hours yesterday fighting a cheap seam roller that kept sticking on a high-pile carpet in Austin, while my partner swears by the heavy brass ones and my old mentor said just use a trowel, so which camp are you in and has anyone else hit that wall where the tool choice costs you more than the labor?

Saw a flooring forum post saying the brass ones hold up way better in hot weather, that sold me.
