That one stair nose in a Charlotte rental took me 5 hours and a second trip to the shop
Back in the day we'd just wrap the nose with a scrap and staple it tight, but this place had a curved landing and the old nose was glued down with something that fought my pry bar for an hour. I finally got it off, cut a new piece twice because the first one split, and ended up using a heat gun and a block to get it to sit flat, which ate up most of my afternoon. Any of you old timers got a trick for curved noses that doesn't turn into a whole day?
