Nailed a perfect seam on a 12 foot wide room today
Had a living room job this morning where the customer wanted a single piece of carpet with no seams, and I managed to get it stretched flat without a single wrinkle on the first try. Has anyone else had that one job where everything just clicks and you feel like you could install carpet blindfolded?

Saw a guy online say that's like finding a unicorn in the carpet world.

Take the opposite side on this one. Unicorns don't exist. Good vintage carpet is everywhere if you know where to look. Estate sales, old commercial buildings getting gutted, even some salvage yards. People just don't try hard enough.
