I used to hate power stretchers until that hallway in Boise

For years I thought power stretchers were overkill for small rooms, just extra gear to haul around for nothing. Then last spring I got a job in Boise, a 6 foot wide hallway with awful pad wrinkles that would've taken me an hour with a knee kicker. Borrowed a neighbor's power stretcher on a whim and it flattened that whole run in under 10 minutes, no re-stretching needed. Turns out the kicker was leaving micro-sags I never even noticed until I saw the difference side by side. Now I bring the power stretcher on every residential job, even 10x10 bedrooms, and my callbacks dropped from 3 a year to zero. Has anyone else fought this same battle, or is there a trick with the knee kicker I'm still missing?
