Old carpenter at the supply house said face frames are faster than frameless cabinets
We got into it last week at the lumber yard - he swears by face frames for kitchen installs claiming they hold up better over 15 years, but I've been leaning toward frameless for more storage space. What's your experience with both over time?

I've done about 30 frameless kitchens over the last 4 years and honestly I think they hold up just as good if not better than face frames. The older guys always say face frames are stronger but the 3/4 inch box construction on frameless is plenty stiff for any normal kitchen. Only time I see face frames winning is if the client wants that traditional shaker look or has unlevel floors where you need to scribe the face frame later.

Nah man, I gotta disagree with you there @blair_davis50, frameless just doesn't feel as solid to me.
