Just realized I was wrong about coworking spaces after a week in Denver

I always thought coworking was just overpriced desks with bad coffee. But last month I spent a week at a place near Union Station in Denver while my office was getting painted. What changed my mind was watching a guy land a client in 20 minutes just by walking around and talking to people in the shared kitchen. He wasn't even hustling, the conversation just happened naturally. The monthly rate was $350, which felt steep, but the networking alone seemed worth it for someone self-employed. Has anyone else switched their opinion on a work setup after actually trying it for a few days?
