I used to shrug off my sibling's job tips, but one call made me rethink.

I thought my brother's advice on networking was just noise since he's in a different field. Then he introduced me to a contact that led to a new client. That simple link showed me how family can open doors you don't see. Now I listen more closely when he shares ideas.

Yeah, family gets it. See, we often brush off tips from siblings because they're not in our field. But that one intro can change everything. I learned that when my brother's contact helped me out. Now I listen more, even if it seems unrelated at first.

Who knew siblings had such useful contacts?

Totally true what @jamie_stone said. We write off family advice way too fast. It's like we think they don't get our work, so their ideas can't help. But people know people in all sorts of places. That random contact from your cousin or whatever might be the exact person you need. Why do we make that mistake so often?
