Used to build pitch decks for 6 hours, now I use a $12 whiteboard from Staples
Back in 2022 I spent almost six hours building a 20 slide pitch deck for a fintech meetup in Kitchener, and half of it was just moving boxes around. Now I sketch the whole story on a small whiteboard first, take one photo, and only open the slide tool once the flow actually works. The big change came after a founder at a Communitech event admitted his deck never got past slide 4 in real meetings. Curious if other folks here sketch first too, or is that just me being cheap with my time?
